Vlogmas 2012

Hey lovelies!!
So it's December, which means Christmas and also vlogmas!!!! I am trying my hardest to do vlogmas, but at the moment I'm ill and not really doing anything which sucks!!
My YouTube channel is almost at 50 subscribers and I was thinking of doing a "we survived 2012" giveaway to celebrate...what do you think?

Blogger phone app

Hey my lovelies!! Long time no talk :'( sorry bout that, my laptop died and my phone refused to accept the blogger app but I have a new phone and the app.

So the app itself seems to work really well, no crashes, no glitches, nothing! I myself absolutely love the app, handy blogging on the go XD

School Appropriate Nail Polish

Hey lovelies!! So at the moment I am sitting in the college library, supposedly meeting a friend but she never showed. So while I have the time I thought I would write a couple of blog posts. I finished my homework and let me tell you college printers...are a NIGHTMARE!!!

Anyway the point of this post is that I am now able to wear whatever I want to school and I can paint my nails crazy colours (at the moment they are Rimmel's 610 pompus), but I used to be in the situation of wanting to paint my nails but being unable to due to my schools policy about everyone being equal and all that. Which yes is good but for us girls who need a way to express ourselves, painting our nails is a great way to do it, so here my top 5 school appropriate manicures:

1. French manicure



Ok so this one is pretty obvious but it looks super cute and done right it looks very professional too.

2. Glittery nails



Ok so here is a nail colour that most people would have said no too but I think its a basic plain colour that is pretty much unnoticable from a distance

3. Nude nail polish:




These range of nail colours fit many different confidence levels and skin tones. My favourite colour of the four is Orly's Country Club Khaki.

4. Baby Pink:



The baby pink nails are similar to the french manicure in that it is simple and very unnoticable from a distance. This is the perfect colour if you want your nail polish to go unnoticed.

5. Baby blue nails




Ok so this isn't for everyone but if your school is a little more relaxed about the nail polish rule, then having a cute baby blue nail polish is fine. It is a subtle pop of colour and it looks almost white.

The Weird and the Wonderful

Hey my lovelies! So following on from Monday's blog post about the ladybirds (ladybugs depending on where your from) I decided I would do a post on some of the weird nail trends I've seen, and some of the more wonderful ones out there. 
 So to start off with, the weirdest nails I have seen by far has to be in the Guinness book of world records. I mean seriously! How gross do you want to get!

 On the other hand, an absolutely wonderful nail trend I have seen this summer has been the Gel Nails. They are great! I have never used them but after the wonderful reviews on them I will defiantly be giving them a go. For someone like me who is far to lazy to paint her nails, or even at work, my nails chip terribly because I'm either washing up or using a lot of harsh chemicals to clean down the surfaces. I don't know whether it's because my top coat isn't that good or the nail varnish itself but I hate chipped nails so Gel Nails would be perfect for me. And yes they are set with UV light but as long as you protect your hands before and moisturise after you'll be fine.

 Another weird nail trend I've seen are the leopard print nails. Now yes, leopard print is super cute but for me, it has to be in moderation. Maybe one nail on each hand painted leopard but not the whole set, to me it looks tacky and cheap even though nail art is quite expensive. However, saying that I do really like the multi-coloured leopard nails. So for me it's a love hate relationship.

 A really really wonderful nail art trend right now is the chevron nail art. And this can look really cute at say a school football game in school colours because it looks like a mini cheerleader outfit on your nails. That may seem weird to some but my friend's cheer team had this style manicure for a big varsity football game to match their cheer uniforms and it looked so cute!! Seriously!

Mani Monday: Ladybug Love

Hey lovelies!! So I have been looking around for a really cute summer nail art tutorial. I stumbled across this super cute ladybug nail art, to me it screams summer and reminds me of memories made during the long summer nights with friends.

 

So after Google-ing many different nail tutorials and not finding one I like I decided I would go onto one of my FAVOURITE websites and found a pretty good match for the image! Back to School

Hey guys, So I don't know when every one is going back to scholl but I am so flippin excited! I'm going into college this year and it is a massive step towards my future. I am taking 4, 2 year courses. I'm taking Communication and Culture, English Language, Textiles and Film Studies. The first two courses were chosen because they have alot of connections in Journalism, in like newspapers, magazines etc.

There was a lady that just passed the course that is now completing an internship at Seventeen Magazine, which would be my dream!!! But I can only get so far with those and so the textiles will aid me with fashion and colour coordinations (because that is one area I suck at). I'm taking Film Studies because it means I can sit and watch films in class most days and just analyse them (which I love doing because I am weird). It also means as my end of year exam I get to make a short film, and I have so many idea's already, and I already know the subjects they have to be based on. But yeah thats what I'm taking and why and I'm really excited to start!

I'm also really excited for the back to school time because I have so many youtube video ideas. Like First Day Outfits, First Day Routine, School Supplies, What my courses are like etc. GAH!! I am just so stoked to be going back. Which sounds weird but it's true, I like school, I like learning, I just hate studying at the end of the year but I only have exams in my C&C and Eng Lang courses so thats good!!

The only Back to School thing I am worried or rather nervous about is getting my G.C.S.E results back. I know I haven't done terrible (but now I think about it, I could possible have done absolutly horrific). Anyway, I'm very nervous but kind excited.

Anyway gals, I shall talk again tomorrow, it is getting kinda late, so I am going to sleep. Goodnight <3

Friday Fun

Hey gals. It's Friday (just about) which should mean a post right? YES! But as per usual I've left it to the last minute (bearing in mind I have been out all day) to post. At least you Americans might still be up :)

Anyway I wanted to do a fun post for my Friday posts. I'm going to post Monday's, Wednesday's, Friday's and alternating Saturday's and Sunday's. But back to today's post. Welcome

Hey guys. Welcome to my blog. I am kaiyeanemone on youtube and I post beauty related videos. I decided to make a blog so I have a place to post well...posts I guess, similar to Elle and Blair Fowler. I aspire to be like them one day, they are so successful and such wonderful people. They really do have everything a girl could ever want! 

This post isn't really up to much, just a little Hey Hi Hello and welcome kinda thing, but hopefully I will post more than I used to (I have this other blog but I don't particularly like the title or layout or what not so I made a new one). The posts on here will vary, from beauty and fashion, to what music I've been jamming out to recently (beware, I listen to some weird and wonderful stuff)

I'm going to try and post every other day, because I tried posting daily and it is just way to much to try posting daily and do all the other things I need to do during the day and although poating it in the evening is an option, by that time my brain has stopped working and I just want to watch telly.
